Backup webspace
Export
Use the export function to backup a webspace. Backing up is a good idea, if the only copies of your material exist online. Bad things do occassionally happen in life, especially when you are least prepared.
The export file format is in plain text. Save them using your browsers save as function, saving the exported file as .txt
Import
The import function takes a previously backed up webspace backup file and dumps it into a webspace. At this stage only people with ftp access can perform this step.
To do this properly you need to put the archive file in the import folder, log into the webspace with the same name as the archive, make sure the webspace is empty or at least doestn contain items with the same names as contained in the archive. Select the file, and press import. All going well you should now have a newly populated webspace.
