New Webspace Help
When you first create a webspace you prretty much only have to specify the name and description. This gets you a standard manager controlled webspace. You can fiddle with the webspace settings afterwards.
Unique Titles
The `Unique Webspace Title` aka Webspace name is used to distinguish your webspace from other webpaces and webspace pages (both share the same name space). It becomes part of the URL which the Webspaces is located, therefore you try to choose and stick with a well thought out name fromt he word go. If you later change it people (and search engines) may have difficulty finding it again.
Choose a name of about 2-3 words. Not too long or else it will be hard to remember and type, and not too short that it doesnt mean anything. You cant use punctuation, just letters, numbers, and spaces. Heres some examples:
- Harrys Basketball Team
- Astronomy Society
- Waitakere Golf Club
Description
The introduction is one paragraph about the webspace. It is used on the webspace index to give people an idea about what or who it is about. The description should be no more than a few hundred words tops.
